Fused Glass Thrush Hanging Suncatcher

Six pieces of thin glass, fused together with vitreous enamel layered between them during firing to give the bird its warm, speckled colours. The result is a thrush that looks entirely at home in a window — catching the light in a way that a print or a painting simply can't.

Each one is made by hand, so no two are identical. A small natural stone bead, chosen to coordinate with the colours of each individual bird, sits above it on the hanging thread.

At 17.5cm wide and 6.5cm tall, it fits comfortably in most windows without blocking much light. A good choice for a kitchen or bathroom window, or anywhere you'd like a small moment of colour during the day.
