"Tracks" Small Stoneware Bottle

Kirsti Hannah Brown builds her bottles from slabs of stoneware rather than throwing them on a wheel, and you can tell — there's a stillness to the form that you only get when something is built rather than thrown. Each one has a distinct personality, a slightly architectural quality, with surface textures and glaze colours that feel like they've weathered something.

The Tracks collection has that quality strongly. The markings carved into the clay and the muted, stormy palette give it the feel of an object with history — something you might find in a museum case, except you can actually own it and put a flower in it.

Just over 14cm tall and 5cm wide at the shoulders. Handbuilt stoneware.
